Trying again!

Well I haven't posted on here for nearly a year, but I'm going to try and keep up with this blogging lark!

First up, here's a card I made for my dance teacher.  She got married in July so I offered to make the card.  It was quite bulky, so I had to make a box for it to fit in, as can be seen below.

All in all it went down really well! All the girls in our class signed it and she seemed pretty overwhelmed with it, so it's all good!

The papers I used are all Basic Grey ones, but I can't remember the names! I watercoloured the image with SU! Watercolour Wonder Crayons.

First post!

Hi everybody! I've decided to split my blogs, one for solely Stampin' Up! purposes, the other for general crafting. Just makes it easier I think. Not that anybody looks at my blog, but anyway....!

So this is where my general crafty stuff will go. First up to show you is a thank you card I did for my nephew and his wife, for their new baby, Jack. I had to do 60 of these, hard work but great fun!

They wanted something they could put a photo on too, so I did a pocket card. They are absolutely thrilled with them, so I'm very happy too!

They also asked me to do a nice thank you card for each of the grandparents, which should be quite big to incorporate lots of writing and be able to have a photo attached too. I decided to do two things. First was a card:

I also decided to do a nice manilla file folder so they could put lots of photos of baby Jack inside, along with various bits of journalling. Here's what I did:
Again, they were thrilled with them, which I'm really pleased about!
